SEX IS FOR EVERYONE:

Engaging in sexual experiences is commonly a critical component in people’s quality of life. So why be limited in your sexuality when there’s now options to make sex an achievable and fun experience for everyone?

Sex and pleasure no longer needs to be an unobtainable experience for people living with disabilities, acute illness, or even chronic disease.

Today I want to highlight some toys and other adult products that we have available at Naughty But Nice Cannon Hill that we think will benefit the sexual experiences of anyone living with a disability, that are in a relationship with someone living with a disability or someone’s caregiver.

I have also included some examples of different disabilities that could benefit from each product. These of course are just examples and personal limitations and abilities would need to be assessed before deciding if a product might be the right fit for you.

ZIGGY:

Let’s start off with Ziggy.

Ziggy is a multi-use vibrator designed for all bodies. You can hump it, rub it, use your body weight to determine the pressure, you can tuck it underneath you or into a harness or underwear, you can use it to stroke your penis and even place it between two bodies. Ziggy also offers an accessible charging station. You can use Ziggy internally as well as externally. This toy has near-silent operation, a braille interface and Ziggy uses medical- grade silicone. This innovative toys’ ingenuity really allows for all bodies to enjoy its features.

Some people that could use Ziggy:

  • Visually Impaired Including Deaf Blindness
  • Muscular Dystrophy
  • Dexterity Impairments
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Carers Offering Support To Immobile Clients
  • Dyspraxia

GRAVITY:

Next up we have Gravity. This toy offers a hands-free experience. Though, if you want to use your hands, it has a moderate handle that you can grasp. Gravity self-thrusts and vibrates with a powerful motor that can be remote controlled via an easy-to-use Bluetooth app which is free to download. Included with this toy is a strong removeable suction base that can stick itself to most hard surfaces. This toy is also rechargeable. Gravity is an awesome option for anyone with dexterity impairments or mobility restrictions as it does all the thrusting for you. This is a versatile toy that can be used primarily for its intended internal use or even as an external stimulator.

Some people that could use Gravity:

  • Muscular Dystrophy
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • People With Limb Loss
  • Multiple Sclerosis

SEX SWINGS:

Moving away from the toys for a moment I’d like to mention sex swings. Sex swings are designed to be easy to assemble and typically feature adjustable, wide, padded straps that provide full body support for up to 90kgs. Many models rotate a full 360 degrees, allowing for a variety of fun and comfortable positions to be explored. They offer a broader range of motion with minimal effort, helping partners connect and experience intimacy in new ways. Swings can also be enjoyed solo, often paired with a favourite toy such as the Gravity.

Some people that could use Sex Swings:

  • Muscular Dystrophy
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • People With Limb Loss
  • Dyspraxia
  • Spinal Cord Injuries

SEX PILLOWS:

Another great option for those who may have mobility limitations or are impacted by chronic pain are sex pillows. These are definitely a great option for those harder to get into positions. They come in an assortment of shapes and sizes (like ramps, cylinders, or humps), can be made of foam, or can even be blown up and are very simple to set up. They can be placed underneath the body anywhere from your head to your toes to really give you the extra support needed in order to engage in some of those fun positions that can now be obtainable for you.

Some people that could use Sex Pillows:

  • Chronic Illness Like: Pain, Arthritis and Cancer
  • People With Limb Loss
  • Spinal Cord Injuries
  • Dyspraxia
  • Ehler’s Danlos Syndrome·

STROKER:

Let’s get back to toys for a bit. Strokers are versatile toys that can be used for both manual stimulation or completely hands-free experiences. Many models combine vibration and gyration technology, often featuring a powerful, lockable suction base that attaches securely to most hard surfaces. They can be enjoyed solo or with a partner as part of foreplay and are suitable for people with penises or trans folk with considerable bottom growth. Most strokers are designed with large, easy-to-use function buttons and are rechargeable, removing the hassle of replacing small batteries.

Some people that could use Strokers:

  • Visually Impaired
  • ASD
  • Neurological Disorders
  • Muscular Dystrophy
  • Spinal Cord Injury

SUPPLEMENTS:

For anyone wanting to try enhancing sexual responses like libido and creating and keeping erections, SKYN has created natural supplements called Arouse which can help achieve just that. There are two options available- tablets for him or for her. These are a natural supplement that are to be taken daily orally to help support libido. Containing vitamins and minerals to support energy production, blood circulation and body metabolism. I would advise to consult a registered health care professional before starting these tablets as to avoid any possible medication interactions.

Some people that could use Supplements:

  • Spina Bifida
  • Erectile Dysfunction
  • Sexual Dysfunction
  • Traumatic Brain Injury

LUBRICANTS:

It’s common to not be able to naturally lubricate but thankfully brands like PJUR have created high quality lubricants to aid in sexual intercourse and masturbation. Offering both silicone and water-based lubes there really is an option for everyone.

I’d like to highlight a couple of lubricants they have, beginning with PJUR Woman. Don’t worry though, this is just a name, and any gender can use this lubrication. This is a silicone-based lube that is perfect for anyone with sensitive skin. Featuring long-lasting, hypo-allergenic properties that have been dermatologist and allergy tested, this lube nurtures and protects dry and stressed skin and mucous membrane. It contains no perfumes or preservatives and only a few drops are needed to properly lubricate intimate areas. As this is a silicone-based lubricant it is not recommended for use with any adult toys.

Luckily though, water-based lubricants are available to use on both intimate areas and adult toys. Again, PJUR have a large selection of water-based lubrications, but I have chosen to narrow it down to only one today that I believe will aid many. PJUR’s Sensitive Glide. This lube is specifically developed for very sensitive mucous membranes in the intimate areas. There are no preservatives, parabens or glycerin added thus making the formula as PH neutral as possible allowing for maximum compatibility with sensitive intimate areas.

All bodies can use Lubrications.
