Gender Diversity & Autism

Gender Diversity & Autism
Many people who are autistic are also transgender or gender diverse.
autistic people are naturally more prone to questioning social norms (asking "buy why"), and are more critical and analytical of binary gender roles
autistic people are also more likely to be hyper self-aware and embrace their unique authenticity when they feel comfortable enough to un-mask
autism does not cause gender diversity, and gender diversity does not cause autism
they are two identities that often overlap and that should be celebrated!
